Author Gary W. MooreAuthor Michael WeeksDuring the Borders Benefit Days weekend, purchases at the Borders flagship store on Michigan Avenue that weekend will help to raise money for the Chicago Writers Association. All you have to do when you make your purchases is give the store cashier this Borders Benefit Days voucher, or use the online code CHW7245BD when making purchases at Borders.com.

Encourage family and friends to shop at the Borders' flagship North Michigan Avenue store or at Borders.com that day. Share the vouchers with everyone you know. Borders will donate a percentage of the total net sales to the CWA. The higher the total net sales, the greater the percentage CWA earns (between 10-25 percent).

BernerYour purchases will help CWA to build up projects it has already begun, such as the Chicago Literary Hall of Fame and its mentoring program for teen writers, and to develop new projects to further educate and promote the city's literary wealths. It's a terrific excuse to go shopping!
